DVD - DVD Player

Since July 2004, Micromega has launched a new DVD player. This player was designed to answer expectations of the most demanding videophiles, as regards to video or sound reproduction. The video section offers many new functionalities: PAL/NTSC video progressive on YUV and VGA connectors. Moreover DVD has an internal transcoder which makes it possible to play NTSC discs even if you only have a PAL/SECAM television set.

In addition, the Coaxial and Optical digital outputs allow to connect DVD to an external processor as AVP. DVD is equipped with an internal decoder allowing to decode Dolby DIGITAL, Dolby Pro Logic and DTS signals as well as MP3 discs and WMA formats.
The digital to analog conversion section calls upon the WOLFSON WM8766 converter whose sound quality is irreproachable. Lastly, DVD is one of the only units of this type which offers, in addition to an individual volume for each audio channel, a GENERAL volume on the remote control making it possible to carry out, with a 6 channels power amplifier or two 3 channels power amplifiers like T120, an extremely powerful and complete home theater system with a rare simplicity of use.
